The saga surrounding North Korea’s missile and nuclear programs just goes on and on. It is one of the central issues of contemporary international politics. Almost two months have passed since Pyongyang’s successful rocket launch, and the region is still unsettled. As might be expected, the UN Security Council condemned North Korea for the launch — not because it was explicitly military, but because it violated Security Council restrictions on the country.
